Welcome to DejaPIM, a free full featured personal information manager for the Nokia N770 Internet Tablet with integrated synchronization to Microsoft Outlook on your Windows PC using DejaLink! DejaPIM was designed with your convenience in mind so that whenever you are connected to an Internet connection on your Nokia N770, you will have the ability to synchronize with your Outlook database on your PC at work or at home. Whether you're across the room, across the city, or across the world, as long as both your PC and your Nokia N770 are connected to the Internet, you can make sure that your important data is kept up-to-date. When you're no longer tied to a cable connecting your handheld to your computer, airports, public areas, even coffee shops and bars can become your gateway to retrieving and updating the information on your computer running Microsoft Outlook.
DejaPIM is currently
provided without charge for use on your Nokia N770 Internet Tablet. If
you wish to use the built-in synchronization features to Microsoft
Outlook, a charge of US$9.95/month will be applied to your provided
credit card following a 14-day free trial. Payment information is
handled using the credit card information you enter into the Windows
application DejaLink. To update your credit card or cancel your
account, simply select the options on the Payment Information screen
and submit the changes.
Usage of the synchronization features between your PC and your Nokia Internet Tablet has a 14-day free trial. For the first 14 days, you may use the synchronization features without entering your credit card information, but after your trial period is up you will be prevented from synchronizing with your device unless you provide your credit card information. You may continue to use the DejaPIM application on your Nokia handheld indefinitely and you can enter your credit card information at any time to enable synchronization.

Installing DejaPIM
Installation of DejaPIM can only be done on the device itself.
Open the web browser on your N770 and browse to:
http://www.dejadesktop.com/downloads.html
Tap the download link for DejaPIM, and you will be presented with the option to either Open or Save the file. If you wish to just install DejaPIM, select Open. If you wish to save the download and install it later, select Save and then make a note of the location you download the file to on your device.

In DejaLink
Synchronization between your Nokia N770 and your PC is currently only supported with Microsoft Outlook. Contacts, Activities, Tasks, and Notes are all supported for synchronization. Only the default Outlook folders are able to synchronize with your Nokia N770 at this time.
In order to synchronize your Outlook data to your Nokia N770 tablet, you must first create a unique username and password. After installation of DejaLink, DejaLink will automatically run and you will be presented with the options screen to set up your synchronization settings. To enter your synchronization information, click the Connect tab and enter a unique username and password.

Uninstalling DejaPIM
To uninstall DejaPIM from your Nokia N770:
Tap the menu icon on the sidebar and select Control panel.
Tap the Application installer
Select dejapim and select Uninstall
Tap OK to uninstall DejaPIM.
DejaPIM will be removed from your Nokia N770, but your user data will remain should you wish to reinstall DejaPIM at a later date or if you are upgrading your version.
PLEASE NOTE: Performing a system backup on your N770 using the integrated backup utility will not back up your user data. Your stored contacts, calendar records, tasks, and notes will all be erased if you reset your device to the factory condition for any reason.
